#STUFF On the road today …

Watched Will Conroy work out this morning at St Ignatius and stopped by Avon Lake to see Max Riley. Will head to Akron Hoban from here for their showcase day before finishing the day at Massillon tonight.

Really impressed by the maturity and approach by both Conroy and Riley.

Justin Frye also making the NE Ohio circuit today, fwiw.

Michigan 2024

After ranking 5th last season with 81% returning production, Michigan’s 2024 team plummets to 128th, returning just 36% of their production from 2023.

24% on offense
47% on defense

It’s going to be really interesting seeing who ends up as their QB1 next season. I have trouble believing anyone on their current roster is starting caliber, but who knows what they’ll be able to find in the spring portal. They could have a major step back, especially if they lose any of their top players in the portal.

2025 Ohio commit vibes

Kind of along the vein of some of the discussions on the threads, I looked at the 247 composite rankings for Ohio. The list follows - I’m interested to know how people are feeling about each kid ending up at OSU.:

Tavien St Clair
Tre McNutt
Carter Lowe
Bo Jackson
Dawayne Galloway
Justin Hill
Marquis Davis
Ryan Montgomery
Cedric Works
Luka Gilbert
Quinton Simmons
Jamier Scott
Dante McClellan

These are my guesses:
Tavien St Clair 100%
Tre McNutt. 40%
Carter Lowe. 100%
Bo Jackson. 30%
Dawayne Galloway. 5%
Justin Hill 60%
Marquis Davis 0%
Ryan Montgomery. 0%
Cedric Works. Who knows?
Luka Gilbert. 10%
Quinton Simmons 0%
Jamier Scott. 0%
Dante McClellan. 40%

Agree? Disagree? To my eye it looks like a lot of the “top” talent is leaving the state this year. Which is fine so long as they keep the kids they currently have.
