I feel overwhelmed by all the NIL sites and collectives popping up; where do you recommend I donate to help the Buckeyes?!

This is probably the weirdest time in history to be a buckeye fan. On the one hand, the team has been embarrassed twice in a row against our rival as the favorite with two of the most talented teams in school history. It feels like no commitments of importance will stick, and our athletic director is saying outright we are behind in a crucial space in recruit, which should never happen at Ohio State. On the other, the team is two wins away from a national title. I personally don't think we will beat Georgia, and if we do lose it will be time for some serious conversations about the leadership of this program, but just the fact the team has the chance to flip all that is tantalizing.

I’m on my way from Omaha to Columbus this weekend for the IU game. My 15 year old son and 19 year old daughter are coming with me. Any restaurant recommendations? Looking for casual spots (pizza, burgers, sandwiches, sports bars, etc….).

I don't know if I've ever seen a month like this for OSU football.

From the de-commits to the NIL crapola, the mood on this board (and in OSU fan circles) is like our shiny new jet unexpectedly nosedived out of the sky. Well before the apparently inevitable (according to many of us) fiery crash in two weeks, I'd like to opine that there's no reason OSU can't win two epic games, flip the script, win the natty and give the rest of the football world (and a few recruits) the middle finger.

UGA is rightfully favored, but they're also a flawed team. We've got the best passer in OSU history, Marvin Jr. is an all-time WR and plenty of talent along both lines and other skill positions. The team is also running the ball better than it has all year. This game is nothing but opportunity for OSU. Beat the SEC's best in their own back yard. Only Day is under pressure. The players are playing with house money. They should be loose and energized. And Day seems serious about eliminating the OSU is soft Ie: "Chip Kelly's Oregon-East" narrative. I absolutely expect him to call his best game.

Could we get blown out? Sure. And if we do (after suffering the SCUM humiliation and having 3.5 weeks to prepare for UGA) we can all push the 5-alarm fire button together and talk about the Mike Vrabels of the world. But frankly, win or lose, I expect our best showing all year. UGA will be overconfident. They're 18-22 year old kids (plus that old-man QB) playing in their back yard. It's human nature to assume.

Stay positive, my friends. That's why they play the games. And we're wearing the best uniforms in OSU history. This is doable. LFG!!! Somebody cue that locker room scene from Major League. "Well, I guess there's only 1 thing left to do..."

Can you guys shed any light into how McCord is developing, and how he has looked in practice . I feel the majority of our fan base has written the book on McCord, based on his one start last season as a true freshman , which is crazy when you think about it . With Riaola decommitting today, lots of uneasiness about the future at the qb position. Are you guys able to share what you have heard over the past year and 3/4. ?

Talked to the coach of the Buckeyes 2023 quarterback commitment, Steve Steele, about his four-time state champ.

I know coaches can't talk about recruits that are not signed, but what about the transfer portal? Deion Sanders is talking about all these JState players by name being at Colorado, and none have hit the portal yet. Does the rule not apply to the portal, and if it does, what's the penalty?
