Oregon is basically producing a Hard Knocks style series following their fall camp. It’s very well done and just another example of how they are pulling out all the stops when it comes to their football program and entering the B1G.

At the same time, the whole “That Team Out West” thing is extremely cringey. If you aren’t familiar with the backstory, they are trying to manufacture a rivalry and hatred between us and them like we have with Michigan. So they’ve given themselves that nickname, despite no one actually calling them that.

I will say it’s funny that despite the last few years and a National Championship, it’s pretty clear that everyone in Oregon still views Ohio State as the top of the Big10.

I have noticed that both the 2025 AND 2026 threads have been taken over by commentary on Justin Frye and general O line recruiting. So here’s a thread. Drop your comments here.

Hopefully the next time I open this up and the titles are in bold for those two threads it will be something other than Frye commentary. Fingers crossed.

I have had issues today (both website and on the app) with new/unread topics not being bold. Makes it a little more difficult to follow along. Anyone else having this issue or just me? Not sure what changed on my end to make the site start behaving this way.

With camp at the midway point, QB1 yet to be named (it's Will Howard), and said QB1's ability to push the ball down the field - I began looking back at games played by older OSU QBs. I'm not counting any of the modern-ish QBs -especially those since Coach Day has been here.

For example - there are multiple people on YouTube who have posted drive thru full games that are around 35-40 minutes. I've watched probably too many of those in the last few weeks. I watched multiple Troy Smith games from 2004 - 2006, some of the Todd Boeckman Experience and last night I watched some Terrelle Pryor. I've got to say....we are 10,000% living in the Golden Age of Ohio State QB play. I was actually shocked at how bad Pryor's throwing motion was in the Rose Bowl against Oregon - way worse than I remembered. He basically was shot putting the ball around. I think he only completed 3 passes that were longer than 15 yards in the air. Troy Smith, particularly in 2004 and 2005, was wild with his mechanics and semi inconsistent. Even in his Heisman year, he would step in the bucket on throws down the field when not being pressured, etc.

So many of the recent OSU QBs have made things that would have been incredibly difficult for those QBs look incredibly easy. NO ONE was throwing a deep out from the opposite hash and hitting someone on the money, which has become a common staple of our offense today. Anyway, fairly OT, but it's amazing how much the game has changed from the QB perspective in 15-20 years. EVERYONE wanted Terrelle Pryor back in 2009 and I don't know that he'd be a top 20 QB today. Got season tickets for the 1st time this year and wanted to see if anyone had any suggestions regarding parking passes for the games. I've seen a couple links online for parking at vitria on the square and that seems to be a short walk but didn't know if anyone here had any suggestions. Thanks!

I have a 2012 Chevy Avalanche with around 150K miles on it. I had a weird issue driving around today and I'm looking for advice about it.

Driving back and forth from Dayton to Cincy my car would rapidly lock and unlock. It happened four times, not always the same.

1. Rapid locking and unlocking.
2. Rapid locking and unlocking, all lights on the dashboard turned on, the car felt like it was in neutral.
3. Rapid locking and unlocking, the car felt like it was in neutral.
4. Rapid locking and unlocking.

Doing some internet research I've seen everything from key fob, to a bad code that needs to be reset, and even a solenoid (which would explain the no acceleration in neutral).

There weren't any fault codes when I had it checked. I just replaced the engine mounting bolts last month because the left bolt broke and the engine "jumped" when I accelerated.

Any advice would be appreciated. I can do basic maintenance, but I am no where close to a mechanic.

If I missed it, I apologize.........any "move in" day photos this year?

I'm no car expert. Far from it. I want something fun, cool, comfy, and low maintenance. I can't even drive stick. What questions should I be asking?

I've always had a fondness for 68-70 Chevelles and GTOs. I think I'm looking for a "restomod" - freshly restored, bad ass muscle car exterior with modern amenities.

A couple of days ago, I inquired about a 71 Cutlass. Two of my many questions were whether A/C works and about the radio. The car had neither. When I said that would be an issue, the guy asked if I'd rather have an 18k engine or A/C. I said, I'd like both lol. He said radio and A/C are easy installs. It isn't easy for me.
