I have a buddy who works in the WHAC. He is at every practice, but he is not an on field coach. he tells me that the drop off from the ones to the twos on the DL is significant. When I asked him how big the drop was, he replied, “too big.”

He said “let me put it this way, the ones on the DL beat the ones on the OL. The ones on the OL beat the twos on the DL but when it’s twos against twos? It’s a push and no one thinks the depth on the OL is good enough..”

Anyone else having trouble getting on, have just about had it. Nothing but problems since new up date

There has been a ton of discussion about OLine recruiting and specifically about Frye.

Is it just me or does it seem like the guys OSU has brought in the last 2-3 years are more likely to emerge than many of the previous classes under Studrawa despite their recruiting rankings being somewhat similar? Padilla, Sierveld, Armstrong’s , Moore, Van Sickle and Cook feel different than Leroux, Toutant,Ryan Jacoby , Avery Henry, Jacob James etc. Add in guys like Hinzman, Montgomery, Fitzpatrick, Teshbola and Michalski it feels like they’ve developed some depth and can begin to have an OL that develops at a normal rate.

Feels like a good time for a new thread.

Buying a house, and looking for suggestions on setting up a good theater/sports viewing area.

DISCLAIMER!! I'm NOT looking for a top-of- the- line 8k theater set up. I'm thinking ~85" with surround sound and a budget of $3000-4000 (would love to spend less, of course, and don't want to spend the money just to spend it). So, a few questions:

- projector?
- Sonos high-end sound bar or some of the multi-speaker systems?
- where to buy? Look for Best Buy sales--those are usually last year's models, no?-- or buy from my tech guy who says he'll price match?
- what questions do I need to ask?

One question was: Could Tavian St. Claire be the starting QB in 2025? A lot depends on if the Buckeyes beat Michigan, win the Big Ten and win the CFP Championship game. A lot of ifs. Not mentioned was the fact the Bucks open the 2025 season hosting Texas. Texas is, and will be, loaded with talent and experience. Would the Bucks put a true freshman in that environment?
Another question was: which 2024 game is the toughest...Oregon, Penn State (both on the road) and Michigan at home. All of those games will be tough and important, for many reasons. Oregon will treat that game as its Super Bowl, a statement game.
I've said many times already, the Bucks could easily play Oregon 2 or 3 times this season and winning them all will be difficult. If they had to lose one of the three, which one would be the most costly? The CFP game, probably. If the Bucks lose at Oregon, but beat the Ducks in the Big Ten title game and then again in the CFP....that would be the best outcome.

Was listening to Dusty and Danny this morning and they were talking about the crazy access the Giants are giving Hard Knocks,

Kannell hinted that the Giants were asking what MH would say to a QB after a "shvt" throw after coming back to the huddle. He didn't take the bait.

Was able to find the clip. Kinda cool.

Kyle McCord took a stray from the Giants WR coach trying to goat Marv into saying something bad about him (which we know he never would)

Pretty funny though

will always wonder what could have been if Clarett had played more than one season. But so glad he has been able to have such a turnaround.

Since we got a dead period going, I figured I would do a check in with how everyone is doing at golf so far this year.

Has anyone played any cool courses? You can drop local to Ohio or your area, love finding new courses to try.

I've been playing Champions a lot this summer and their greens are killing me but its still my favorite Columbus city course. I recently drove down to Eagle Sticks in Zanesville and loved it. It was like $65 for 18 and the course is in great shape, I highly recommend.

I hope everyone is going low this summer and hopefully no one is breaking clubs!
