Unlimited Coaches

With the number of on field coaches increasing, but the number of cochlea who can recruit on the road staying at 11, will the position coach evolve into an almost purely sales and motivation role? The intent is to allow more open coaching by analysts and QAs, but does this mean a school could hire former players to be scout team players? Could OSU bring on staff a technician guru to work with a particular position like bring in a Quincy Avery type to be a personal QB coach?

Wokeness?

Nobody seems to be able to define it, other than a catch all for things dumb people don’t like or can’t understand.

This, however, is truly a masterpiece.

I would like to hear the arguments for how western civilization were not and are not historically racist.

While agitators like Shapiro make a living pandering to the evidence of its truth, that discrimination must be upheld and furthered.

Breaking News Four-star offensive lineman Jake Cook commits to Ohio State

Justin Frye gets his center for 2025. Love to see a kid who's willing to repeatedly come to camp and earn an offer (McLaurin, Darron Lee, etc). Now go get David Sanders.

TPD - OL Recruiting

Listening now and Birm & Landis were discussing how the OL class may finish, and Birm said a couple times that he didn’t understand why “people” expected Frye to land all 5-star OL recruits, b/c that’s not realistic. Now, maybe he was just referring to a never-satisfied small minority portion of the fanbase……….

However, maybe I’m wrong, but do the vast majority actually expect Frye to recruit at a Hartline/Walton level?? Because I’m not seeing that at all.

From what I can see, the vast majority just wants him to hit on the few eggs he places in the basket since even to Birm’s own admission he tends to narrow his focus on the recruiting trail.

If the OL class ends up being ONE five star, another top 100 guy (Lowe) and then 3 solid developmental prospects, the VAST majority of the fanbase who pays attention to recruiting will be pretty happy with that.

I think it’s unfair to try to categorize the expectations of Frye as being some crazy unrealistic perfection standard when in reality, almost everyone just wants him to finish with a good balanced group of recruits.
