1. Day and Chip deserve every ounce of criticism they are getting. They are grown ass adults who willingly cash paychecks that add up to millions of dollars. They have every resource available and choke in the biggest moments. I am actually pleasantly surprised at how reasonable the reaction has been and even a lot of people in the national media who defended Day because of his overall record seem to be shifting to the opposite side now.
2. This is still a damn good football team capable of winning the title. Provided Day and Chip somehow remember how to coach, this team has all of the elements needed to beat any team in the country. Insane talent on offense but an incredibly elite defense can go a long way. I hope the team can block out the noise, refocus and attack the playoff.
While the loss sucks big time, this is actually a decent scenario for them. Time off to heal, work on the O Line, and develop a game plan after some reflection. Go Bucks!
