This OSU defense might have been the best run defense in modern history.
The site I use hasn't updated their numbers from last nights game yet, but entering last night OSU was #1 in the nation in relative run defense keeping teams to 44% less yards per carry than their average, last night will have only improved that number as they held ND to 2 yards a carry when they normally average nearly 6 yards a carry.
They finished the year allowing
-23 yards

In the playoffs. Just absolutely amazing.
For some context the 2021 Georgia defense "only" held teams to 43% less yards per carry.
