Hey, everybody. I know some of you left questions on the board, and I wanted to address those all in one place. I truly apologize for taking so long to get around to these. I went back through the forum this morning to mark these down. It was my intention all day to make this thread, but it took longer than I anticipated to get the information I needed to answer some of these and to write out my responses. I'll be better in the future about responding more timely.

Going in order of questions/comments from earlier in the week to the ones from Sunday:

From @AnaheimBuck: How is Knowles' and my favorite LB recruit (Tackett Curtis) doing these days and when is he expected to make a decision?

Answer: Ohio State remains the favorite to land Curtis. I hear you when you said “the longer this plays out, the more nervous I become,” but I don’t see the wait as much of a concern. Tackett’s plan was always to take official visits and then go into decision mode. When I spoke with him and his uncle/head coach in March, the trio of Ohio State, Wisconsin and USC were in the lead group and the three he would no doubt be taking official visits to see. There was potential he could take an OV to a fourth, but those three had separated themselves. He is going to take officials first to Wisconsin and USC in June, but Ohio State is going to get the final official on the last weekend in June – the one that has been cemented as the Buckeyes’ biggest recruiting weekend of the summer. (I’m going to have a full list put together of official visitors later this week.)

Also, the plan was always to commit before the start of his senior season and have his recruitment put to bed. I anticipate a decision sometime in July after he takes those three officials. I placed a FutureCast in March for him to land with Ohio State, and I have no real reason to move off of that pick. Wisconsin has made a strong push, but Ohio State has remained steady. Jim Knowles has been prioritizing him since he was at Oklahoma State and has done the same in Columbus. The relationship there is as strong as any in his recruitment, and Knowles’ scheme looks like a perfect fit for Curtis as a linebacker who can be dominant as a Mike but also play Will.
