Given the latest YouTube videos from a Texas 'pool party' and ongoing commentaries about the social and political implications of teenager behaviors makes me ask this question about civility. Put yourself into the shoes of the police officer who was confronted with a crowd of mouthy teens. Been to a school event recently? Concert? "Foodie" gathering? Sporting event? So much 'selfie rudeness' on display, eh? Any winners there??

There seems to be longing for 'rage' that permeates our whole society. Disorder is the order of the day!?? And where are the calming voices of reason?? A B S E N T !!!

This nation is suffering from a lack of leadership in far too many segments. I pity the law/rules enforcement community who is charged with trying to maintain order by enforcing the laws/ordinances created by self-serving 'professional/semi-professional politicians/appointees'.

Look for leadership the next time you cast your 'ballots', regardless of form, when choosing the next band of leaders. The ENTIRE nation needs it !!
