It was a forgone conclusion last NBA season that the crown was going to Golden State. Sure, Houston came close. Also, in basketball, you have to beat them in a best of 7.
In CFB, you only have to beat a team once in the playoffs, not 4 times. Still though, the crown going to Bama appears more and more to be a forgone conclusion. Tua has 18 touchdowns, 0 interceptions and only 25 incompletions. Think about that. Almost as many TDs as drops. Those stats are essentially with him only playing half games. And, their most talented players are true sophomores or freshmen. So, the offense will be even better next year.
Sure, any team can be beaten on any given night. That is what makes CFB so glorious. But this Bama team, wow. Their schedule is weak but that team is loaded. We stood no chance against Miami when Tress won his Natty. So, we could beat Bama and I would love for the Buckeyes to get that opportunity. But the odds of us beating them would be quite small. This Bama dynasty is picking up steam and is showing no signs of ending any time soon.
