O-H! Hey Fellow Buckeye fans,
Corey Petro, an Ohio-born and raised OSU fan moved to Houston for work a little less than a decade ago for work. There has not been a week that he has gone by where you could see Corey NOT representing scarlet and gray! #TeamCorey was started in an effort to band together with Corey and his struggle with Brain Cancer. In 2009, he suffered a Grand Mal Seizure while driving home from work. He would suffer 2 more in the ambulance before making it to the hospital. After 3 brain surgeries, years of radiation and chemo, his battle is quickly coming to an end as he in Inpatient Hospice holding on to his last days. His powerful witness as a devout fan, husband, loving father, son, brother and friend to all he meets has us all cheering for him as we band together for #TeamCorey.
The GoFundMe challenge has made its way over to the MICHIGAN rival forum and the donations have been streaming in with a challenge from his hometown fans to do the same. Our family is forever grateful for whatever form of support you can give our family in this time of need. Let's bring home another National Title this season as we support Corey!
