Still very early but we can start to put a few data points together:
  • UM played Utah tough on the road in week 1, has looked better with each week, and today demolished a BYU team that may have been low on gas but still played Nebraska, Boise State, and UCLA even up.
  • MSU was fortunate to hang on at home against Oregon and has looked lackluster in each of its other three games.
  • Utah is DESTROYING Oregon in Eugene.
For a while now I've just had a tough time getting too worked up about our 11/21 home game against MSU – nominally the B1G game of the year.

At the risk of succumbing to recency bias, I'm going on the record now with the following prediction: Michigan beats MSU at home on 10/17 and comes into the game against us at 9-2 or 10-1 and as a legitimate threat.

As Nevada has said, that Harbaugh guy might be a weirdo, but he's a WITCH as a coach, and the talent cupboard up there is far from bare…
