Imho, this is the exact recipe for eventually landing OL like Seaton and Sanders. Maintain the relationship, let the first school pay the ungodly NIL and incur all the risk while the player (hopefully) develops for a year, then pluck him when he's ready to contribute. My issue with paying Seaton and Sanders isnt the 1.5M/yr, it's the 1.5M in year 1 to sit behind Josh Simmons who's making a fraction of what his backup makes.
