The wife is getting the itch to "gtf" out of the great white north, at least in the winters, but likely forever lol ...... we are going to plan a trip to Jax area probably next December or January. You will be expected to drop everything and show us around StA, etc ... btw, she (and her family) see me as a bleeding heart liberal ... you are forewarned!
A good friend of mine lives in St Marys, GA, just a short drive north of Jax (Osprey Cove?). I think we are going to take a hard look at the areas within 30-45 minutes of Jax, including StA.
Do you know off hand the taxes and retirement friendly nature of GA vs FL? I will do some research, but thought I would ask in case you knew the skinny?
