Outstanding experience,other than some transport issues that cropped up. Beautiful city, half europe/half NYC, very friendly people, even the beggars! A lot of mary jane in the air, cable car was a rough ride but worth it! Fisherman's Wharf looks like a fun place to hang with a group, Alcatraz was a HIKE.....i mean it wore me OUT! Great experience over there and fantastic views/pics. Tenderloin area was a bit dicey, went through Haight today but it didn't seem much was going on. We stayed near Union Square and there were some primo restaurants and traditional Irish bars there.....excellent! Took the "MUNI" bus today to Golden Gate Bridge(one of the transport snafu's), breathtaking....a lot of history there! Can't beat $10 to go from downtown to the Golden Gate and back!
