Good Morning everyone. I know we're all recovering from the game on Saturday night, but I just had an interaction with a few co-workers that I felt like was noteworthy.

For context, I work in Northern Kentucky and the majority of my co-workers are Cincinnati fans or Kentucky fans. Generally, I would say that Cincinnati fans respect Ohio State's status as a program (although they puffed their chest a lot during their 2021 season), but the Kentucky fans are the traditional SEC fans who believe that OSU is consistently overrated.

Now for the actual story. Leading up to the playoff, all of the Kentucky (SEC) fans told me that OSU was overmatched and that this was going to be a blowout. This generally mirrors what @AustinWard was discussing in the leadup to this game from national media/public perception. Coming into work this morning, I had multiple co-workers come up to me and say that the Buckeyes were the better team and that they were wrong about OSU as a program.

I only share this because while this is a results oriented business and we're not in the "moral victory" world, this performance made an impact on people's opinion. Our team showed the nation what it's truly capable of and that we're still one of the elite.
