Below are my thoughts on the possibilities. I know some of these are "best case / pie in the sky" projections...But if each of the guys I list below performs to thier capabilities - all of these are possible. My question to you guys is this: If we win another championship and all these guys play lights out, who stays and who goes? And those that either leave early or graduate, where do they go in the draft?
1) 1st - Joey Bosa (the consensus #1 pick in all 2016 mock drafts)
2) 1st - Ezekiel Elliot (the consensus #1 RB on all mock boards)
3) 1st - Cardale Jones (the wildcard, if he continues to develop - or play like he did in the last 3 games of last year - he will be the first QB taken and could challenge Bosa for the top pick)
4) 1st - Taylor Decker (Staley and Tunsil are ahead of him in the preseason rankings but a stellar season could land him in the top 15 or 20).
5) 1st - Darron Lee (I think he will slide into the first)
6) 2nd - Aldolphus Washington (could he go in the 1st?)
7) 2nd - Michael Thomas (I think MT could be a top 5 wr)
8) 2nd - Vonn Bell (this might be a bit high for Bell, but he really gained momentum the more he played - could be a top 2-3 safety)
9) 3rd - Eli Apple (depends solely on his body of work this year).
10) 3rd - Jalin Marshall (I could see him with 60 catches, 1,000 yards and 12 touchdowns - and he could get 2-3 return TDs too)
11) 3rd - Nick Vannett (could be the 1st or 2nd TE taken)
12) 4th - Joshua Perry (I see as high as a late 2 if he puts it all together and as low as 5th or 6th round pick)
13) 4th- Pat Elflein (unreal story...if he's the 1 of the top 3 or 4 guards in the country, he should probably go and he would likely be a 3rd or 4th rounder)
14) 5th - Jacoby Boren (playing the "Linsley Clone" card here...If he crushes it and adds 5-10 pounds before the combine, he will get drafted)
15) 6th - Chase Farris (if he has a great year coupled with the facts that Wariner creates great NFL lineman and he can play both guard and tackle - he gets drafted)
16) 6th - Corey Smith (could have a breakout year and get drafted)
17) 6th - Tyvis Powell (essentially forced to enter because Smith is taking his spot)
18) 6th - Braxton Miller (I see a possible pass catching RB in the Pierre Thomas mold)
19) 7th - Cameron Johnston (top punter in CFB)
20) 7th - Schutt or Hale (whoever plays more)
