Football Recruiting Buckeyes saving a scholarship?

There had been some consternation on how things were going to work out scholarship wise with current Buckeye true junior punter Cameron Johnston and 2016 punter commit Drue Chrisman from LaSalle. Some had theorized that Chrisman would delay enrollment for a year or that Johnston would be turning pro so Ohio State wouldn't have two punters on scholarship simultaneously.

Well we got the word from the horse's mouth tonight here at the LaSalle-Carmel match up in Nippert Stadium. Drue Chrisman reported that he will be grayshirting for his first year on campus at Ohio State and will not be a scholarship player until Cam Johnston departs Columbus
