I know there's a ticket forum area, but I was wondering if anyone had some tips on how best to purchase tickets for an Ohio State game.
I have been a few times, and each time I went it was facilitated by someone who has season tix and is a current/former staff member of the university. That connect can't assist this time, and I have a trip planned to take my girlfriend to her first game this fall.
We live in NC, and aren't looking to spend a fortune, but I targeted either the Iowa game or the Nebraska game. My first question was - in general, what's the best way to go about tickets and on what time frame are they usually released or go on sale? My second question is timing for the game itself. With the changes to college football and TV, it seems likely looking at the schedule, that Iowa OSU should be a 3:30 CBS game. It also seems likely that Nebraska Ohio State will almost assuredly be a noon kick.
I loved the Skull Session and pre-game atmosphere for non noon games, and was really hoping for a 3:30 game or later. Other than waiting to see closer to the game, is there a solid guess that one of those games might be a later kick? Would prices skyrocket at some point? Any general information about anything related to tickets and planning an out of state trip for the game would be really, greatly appreciated.
Last bit of information: my GF is intent on staying at The Graduate, which is also why making a decision sooner rather than later is best for us.
Thank you all, and Go Bucks!
