That was an absolutely CLUTCH second half of the 4th quarter. The defense, while not stellar, did enough to keep it close enough. They actually handled PSU's offense except for not being able to stop McPutz from running the ball. The offense was putrid but for 1 drive in the first and 1 drive at the start of the 3rd. But, down 2 scores with less than 8 minutes left, the offense was absolutely clutch, especially on that last drive for 96 yards to take the lead. And the defense was able to find a way to stop PSU when it absolutely had to late.
Somehow, someway, they came up big when the game was on the line and found a way to win. This team has heart and they proved it tonight!
