His team was embarrassed by a truly great Alabama team. His highly-regarded team was challenged by a good Minnesota Gopher team on the road and now an up-and-coming Oregon team, without 3-4 of its best players, came into The Shoe and out-played the Buckeyes. The defense is lacking coaching and leadership. Coach Day has to right-the-ship. He has games against Tulsa and Akron to get the job done. The trip to Rutgers doesn't look as easy any longer. Day can't afford to do nothing to right-the-ship. He must get the job done or he might lose control. Top-tier recruits are watching. Goes to show how impressive the Alabama program is.
Also, keep in minded, as bad as it was, the Buckeyes had two perfect opportunities at the end to score TDs and either tie the game, or even win it. Had they done that, it would have been crazy.
