Say what you will but I was thinking after the first half that it was critical for the coaches to have a serious talk with the players at halftime to shake them up and get them to perform.
As an old player, I have always have watched how teams perform in the second half and that gives me some indication if the coaches are performing properly and motivating their players.
I will say I was impressed with the Buckeye's demeanor in the second half, especially the play of the Oline. They were listless and terrible in the first half but somebody lit a fire under them because it was totally different in the second half.
We half some experienced serious talent coaching wise on this team and it became apparent that they made some adjustments at half that changed the entire game.
