2022 QB Quinn Ewers falling in our lap?
I mean I know and understand we are signing a QB stud in Kyle McCord as well but listen me out for a second.
If Oklahoma snags Williams, that’s gonna be at least 3 very similar system QB’s in Kyler Murray, Jalen Hurts and then Williams who all have very similar styles which requires a lot of running.
Ohio State will have Haskins, Fields and then McCord, all pass first guys plus Ryan Day.
Could Ewers be slanted to the Bucks by default, simply because of not just Ryan Day’s rep with QB’s (OU’s rep is impeccable here too) but because of a current system the past 5 years that has been in place which more suits Ewer’s style, versus Oklahoma’s of recent?
Most early pubs has Oklahoma #1 and Ohio State #2 early for Ewers btw.
I’m posting this more as a question based off an observation, more so than me trying to sell the idea.
Thoughts?
