The real camp part of the Sound Mind Sound Body camp gets going tomorrow as most of today was spent listening to presentations and then a little bit of speed drills and QB stuff later in the afternoon.
Kerry Coombs was in attendance of course and the Buckeyes will have 7 coaches here tomorrow including Urban Meyer who is speaking in the morning.
Larry Johnson is going to be lead instructor for the defensive lineman at tomorrow's camp and Ed Warinner is going to be lead instructor for the offensive linemen. This is a tremendous opportunity for these guys to give OSU even more exposure in front of these kids as well as working closely with and evaluating them. Warinner will get to work with Buckeye commit Michael Jordan and Johnson will get to work with some good linemen, including 2017 Baltimore (Md.) Our Lady of Mt. Carmel DE Josh Kaindoh.
Talked with Michael Jordan a bit this evening and he just reiterated that the Ohio State decision was based on relationships but also academics with the major of international business and wanting to minor in Chinese. He says he has taken a little bit of grief for heading down to Ohio State but that it hasn't been too bad and that he's happy with his decision.
Spoke briefly with Donovan Peoples-Jones as well and nothing really new there as we just interviewed him a few days ago but he is working out tomorrow so I should be able to get some video of him in action.
