Just wanted to chime in...
First off congrats on a very good get.
Devin should be a really solid addition to Ohio State. He is coming in with reasonable expectations that he will take a year... learn all he can as a redshirt, and grow into the position and compete. He is a solid young man and is a true team player.
As I am sure you ha e already seen Devin can make every throw under the sun. I have watched Corner Canyon in person several times and as a coach I look primarily at body language and interraction with teammates and he exudes charisma and confidence. You will see on his social media a lot of references to the donuts he gets for his teammates. Started as a "thank you" for his lineman and grew from there. Corner Canyon has been a Quarterback destination spot for a lot of kids in and out of Utah. Zach Wilson, Jaxson Dart and now Devin Brown. Branden Bowen also came from Corner Canyon.
My son played briefly with Zach Wilson and his brothers and am very familiar with Coach Kjar. You cannot ask for a more solid coach for Devin to learn under, despite only being at CC for a year. I don't know Devin personally but my best friend's son is close with Devin and speaks highly to his work ethic and tenacity. In person I noticed solid body language and the ability to extend a play when needed. Despite a disappointing end to the season by not winning a championship Devin performed well and is encouraging some of the coaches to consider a few of his teammates.
As far as the "student" part of the student athlete suffice to say he could do a little better by getting a 4.5 GPA instead of a 4.4. (He takes his education pretty seriously)
Anyway... i know not much of this is not groundbreaking but just wanted to extend my congrats.
Good get Buckeyes.
