Thinking back to the fall , up until 2 days before the season , Nick McLarty was supposed to be the starter , it’s been said McGuire had a better week of practice , and it’s been status quo since the season started .
All season long Ignibusa and Ward have been less than stellar , and you have Matthews , Simpson Hunt on the bench , rarely used .
We’ve watched nearly all year , the same 4 Dl playing 50 plus snaps a game , guess what I’m trying to figure out is do they shut down evaluating once the season starts , and your next shot is the offseason to make an impression , or do we have a seniority/ play it safe mentality that trickles down from Ryan Day ?
I listened to the press conference yesterday , I listen to Ryan Day for weeks saying we need to rotate to keep guys fresh , I listen to Knowles say that it’s Larry Johnson’s decision on who plays on the DL and who’s rotated in . Are we to believe Larry Johnson is just disobeying what Ryan Day tells him ? Sorry to be all over the place .. So many things just don’t make sense with this team, is it just weak leadership from Ryan Day ?
