I'm not big poster on here, but I love to reading the posts. I came over when Nevada and Kirk came from scout.
So the reason for this post is because I just put up a Donors Choose for my Media Center. A Donors Choose is a crowd-funding website used by teachers to generate money.
I am a Teacher/media specialist in a school here in Central Ohio that has a very high poverty rate, and I am trying to make the media center much more inviting and usable to 21st century learners.
This stuff is just so expensive to purchase on my own. I would eventually like to turn the media center into a sort of board game cafe type place where students can come collaborate, brainstorm, and generally want to come. However, I am trying to start small off the bat because I feel asking for what I the stuff in the link is already way too much. I feel it's worth a shot thouugh.
Anyhow, I'll place the link below and if you have any questions ask away (Might be tomorrow before I get back, it's bedtime). I feel awkward posting this, so mods feel free to delete if this isn't the place.
