There will continue to be content coming throughout the week as we catch up with more and more visitors from this past weekend but will go down the list here quickly on some additional things I've gathered in the last 24 hours or so.

- Everything is still looking pretty good for Ohio State with St. Thomas Aquinas defensive back Jordan Battle. One thing that I think further helped them this weekend is that Battle and his family enjoyed the city of Columbus. Let's just say there have been people in South Florida in their ear sort of trash talking the city and saying it's basically a football town with nothing else to do. That is far from what their experience actually was this weekend so in a recruitment with very little concerns for the Buckeyes, one of those concerns looks to have been wiped away.

I expect a decision to come as early as this week, but would be surprised if it went past a 10-day window or so.

- Hearing nothing but good things on all of the receivers that made official visits over the weekend. I continue to feel that Marcus Washington will be in the class sooner rather than later and that it's just a matter of whether or not he wants to stick to that August 7th announcement date or not.

There is no question Ohio State leads for Jameson Williams, he has told me this multiple times in the past six weeks. I think Alabama put forth a really good visit this past week and I might consider them the second biggest contender. There are still visits to take to UCLA, Oregon, and Nebraska. While any visit has a chance to shake things up for a kid, the one trip of those three that I think will be interesting to watch is Oregon. I think of those three remaining visits, that is the school he likes the most going into those trips. But the fact that Ohio State still leads after the OSU/Bama back-to-backs is pretty telling.

With Higgins, we'll go more in-depth with him tomorrow, but I feel it was another very strong visit for Ohio State. There is still a numbers game that will come into play at some point here where not every receiver can have a spot but if he decides in short order, and I think it's trending that way, Ohio State should be considered the favorite.

- I spoke briefly with five-star defensive end Zach Harrison on Monday. Zach asked me to give him a little time, a couple of days perhaps, to digest everything before he does any interviews about his Michigan and Ohio State back-to-back visits over the weekend.

Not sure how much I'm really putting into the Michigan buzz at this point. For one, when is the last time the buzz came out and was negative? "Hearing Michigan didn't close any ground at all this weekend and in fact lost even more ground" is not a narrative I think I've ever seen come from the media in Ann Arbor.

Secondly, if we're talking about Zach as a stock right now and not an actual human being. Michigan has been making a good move for several weeks, if not months now. All of that is already factored into the price, baked into the cake, however you want to put it, on our end from what we've reported. It's all of a sudden a big revelation elsewhere that Michigan, not Penn State, is Ohio State's biggest threat here. Well we've been saying that for weeks, so that's nothing new over here.

There is confidence through Ohio State channels that the Buckeyes put forth a good pitch and presentation to Zach and his family while also keeping the environment pretty relaxed as Zach is not a high-pressure sales pitch type of kid.

I don't find anything out of the ordinary with Zach wanting a little time to think about everything before commenting. He doesn't like the spotlight as it is, and Zach and I even talked about it last week that he might need to do this before we'd get an update on his official visits.

- Don't see any reason that if Ohio State recruits 2020 running back Darvon Hubbard properly that they will land him. Not sure he's ready to jump just yet, but assuming OSU proceeds normally on this one, he should be in the class.

- Haven't heard anything that would sway me from picking Ohio State for Lejond Cavazos. The four-star prospect announces at 6 PM tomorrow. We'll be on site when he does.
