I have a really bright nephew who graduated from Bowling Green last summer. His degree is in neuroscience. He interviewed for masters programs at Michigan, Van Andel Institute, UNC Chapel Hill and will soon interview at Oregon. These positions are very big deals where it’s full scholarship plus stipend.
He just got offered by both UM and VA and is waiting on UNC and of course Oregon. Our family is from Toledo so the UM and VA offers hold a lot of sway. I had never heard of Van Andel but it’s supposed to be a very prestigious place along with UM. If the choice were limited to those two, which would be a better choice in terms of a career move?
