* Day said it’s trending toward Zen Michalski not playing. We didn’t see him coming off the practice field. Day wouldn’t say what the plan is for left tackle against Penn State.
* Day did say Lathan Ransom is “ready to go” and answered with an affirmative “yes” when asked if Ransom would play this week. Ransom was one of the last guys walking off the field, and definitely looked like he was doing stuff today. I also thought he still had a fairly noticeable hitch in his walk, but I’m not a doctor.
* Will Kacmarek wasn’t padded up for practice, but he was in a jersey and didn’t have his arm in a sling. So that seems like he’s making progress toward a return. Don’t think that would be this week, but certainly looks like we’ll see him on the field again at some point this year.
