Jones and Young are obvious candidates. Dobbins was his typical excellent self. Huge plays late by various WR's. To my EXTREMELY amateur eye Munford quietly had a good game.
But my pick? One JOE MOORHEAD.
There were several points in that game where, with competent play calling, Penn State puts that game out of reach. But instead their offense devolved into McSorley right, McSorley left, McSorley up the middle. And it was almost enough! But when it counted most their scheme couldn't keep our D off-balance and our talent carried the day. Had Moorhead been on the opposing sideline? I'm afraid we come out of tonight with a big L.
That shouldn't take anything away from our guys, who showed tremendous heart all around, but the other side should rightfully feel GUTTED to have let us get away two years in a row…
