The very early portion wasn't the best, but that ended up being one of the better Ohio State performances in recent memory and a very fun one to watch.

  • Will Howard had a very Will Howard performance. Tough to complain about much today. The interception hit Jelani on the hands and the DB just got there at the perfect time. 84% completion 😍
  • I do think Howard had Emeka coming open on that pick, but I can't fault him much there because he was under pressure.
  • The running game wasn't good today. That's probably my biggest complain from the offense other than.....
  • Tegra had a rough showing. Several plays he won't want to watch in the film room.
  • But overall I though the the offensive line was fine to good. I didn't notice Hinzman or Siereveld much at all. Pass blocking seemed good whereas the run blocking needs to get better.
  • I am a fan of Ohio State touchdowns, but I'm good with Trey kneeling it there on the would-be touchdown.
  • I also don't care that they then DID in fact punch it in (lol).
  • Carnell Tate was showing out early. He's been so good of late.
  • Ohio State had it 3rd and 35 and its own 40 late in the first quarter and ended up getting a first. That was a massive series even if they didn't end up scoring. The field position differential in itself was huge.
  • The block on the back on Hinzman was a lame call. I also have no idea how the officials missed Bennett Christian literally getting tackled in the middle of a route.
  • Not a huge statistical game for Jeremiah, but he still just makes everything lose so easy.
  • Nice to see Jelani get a score. I'm still high on him but do have some questions about his hands.

  • The defense was amazing today. Major props to Knowles, LJ, Laurinaitis, Walton, Guerrieri, etc.
  • The pressure on defense was a thing of beauty. They were stunting and doing all kinds of blitzes. Love to see that.
  • Cody Simon was great. Wish he would've recovered the one fumble but he was awesome today (and great punch-out by Ransom on that play).
  • Caleb Downs. Freakshow. He's obviously been elite despite not having a bunch of huge stats or turnovers. That punt return will be remembered for a long time. Amazing.
  • Sooo in a way I'm almost happy Simon didn't recover it. We wouldn't have gotten the punt return if he had.
  • I was impressed with the Indiana ground game. The overall stats won't show it due to all the sacks, but Lawton and Ellison both ran very hard today.
  • Igbinosun was grabby again but he had some sticky coverage. He's basically the same player every week; for better or worse. He seemed to do a lot better after they brought in Mathews for a bit when he was struggling early. **he had another late PI right after I typed this out :(
  • How weird does it feel having a broadcast salivate over the Ohio State special teams???
  • Indiana did get the late score but I'm not going to fret over that.
  • With 12 minutes to go in the THIRD QUARTER, Georgia had given up 21 points to UMASS. But be prepared to hear PAWWWWL and all the dinguses talk about how overrated Indiana is.
  • The Hoosiers are a good team. Ohio State is just much, much better.
  • I adore this version of Ryan Day.
