Just like all of you, I've spent the past 20+ days glued to our outlets for any info on our team and coach.
Also probably like you, I spent the day confused as to the outcome of how the BOSS of a man who not only wasn't found guilty of a crime, but wasn't even charged, could be punished. As a father of 2 daughters, I abhore violence against women, but in this instance, I feel vilified as a man.
This evening I made the mistake of clicking on, and reading a terrible article by Pat Forde. I wondered what Urban would do for the next 21 days...hoping, like others, this crap may focus him even more than usual (actions speak louder than words).
Then it hit me! Maybe they've inadvertantly unleashed the lion. We all know his family has to reel him in. Maybe the next 21 days will allow him the downtime to truly dig into his football focus and how he approaches the game, positionally, play wise, and strategically.
I guess what I'm thinking is that this 'break' could actually be a critical moment in UfM's development and growth as a coach.... And none of it would have happened without the same people set out to hurt him.
