Sam Hubbard talked with the media after Ohio State's win over Maryland and he had this to say on allowing the negativity of "fans" and media members to potentially impact the team:
“[Coach Meyer] gave us a really special message. You have the core of your team, that’s in the center. It’s a circle, a sphere and if you have cracks and allow things to penetrate it – everything on the outside, the stuff about how our offense can’t produce, that we’re making mistakes – if you listen to that and allow that to get into our circle, it will break our foundation.
If we hold strong and trust in each other and have faith in each other inside the walls of the Woody, then we’ll stay strong and break out and we’ll have a great season.”
Sounds like the constant railing against Buckeye players by some segments of the fan base and media is beginning to create a bit of an us vs them mentality.
