Holtmann Makes Late Season COY Watch List
COLUMBUS, Ohio –Chris Holtmann, head coach of the Buckeyes, has been selected to the late season watch list for the 2021 Werner Ladder Naismith Men’s Coach of the Year, the Atlanta Tipoff Club announced Friday.
Holtmann, one of 15 coaches nationally to be recognized, is in his fourth season at Ohio State and has taken the Buckeyes to the NCAA Tournament twice before a chance for a third trip to the postseason was canceled last March.
The Buckeyes are currently ranked No. 4 nationally with an 18-4 overall record and a 12-4 mark in the Big Ten.
Ohio State takes on No. 3 Michigan at 1 p.m. Sunday at Value City Arena. CBS Sports will televise.
