I think several years of Braxton/JTB (running QB to move the chains philosophy) as opposed to Cardale Jones (open up middle of the field with deep throws philosophy) is main reason you don't see 5* stepping over themselves to come to OSU.
They do at all the other positions under Meyer as we have seen but not QB (generally speaking).
I think recruits think of the OSU they see on TV and we don't have to rehash that from a passing standpoint, we all get it.
I think once Day and Company get Haskins some serious passing attempts and stats (>300 yards first few games), I think it will be accompanied by many media articles about how Urbans offense is evolving under new GURU Ryan Day and you will see a lot of HS QBs start considering OSU, including many flips. Its just a matter of getting kids old "branding" of OSU FB out of their minds and embrace the new OSU offense.
Given what we have seen thus far from QB recruiting, I really think this will take off by end of Sept once the results start to show itself. So pencil me in as one that is NOT worried at all about OSU QB recruiting. It would be nice for them to run a lot of hurray up offense to give all the starts their desired stats (RBs I am thinking).
