Much has been said about the coming gauntlet of games for the basketball Buckeyes. The physicality of the Big Ten wears on the players. In the next few weeks, the Buckeyes square off against Michigan, Michigan State, Iowa and Illinois. Those games will be mentally and physically challenging. A few days later, the team enters the Big Ten Tournament. If they spend all of their energy trying to win the Tournament Title, will they have time to rest and recharge for the NCAA Tournament? From what we've already seen, there are no easy games in the Big Ten. The NCAA field will not have any blow-outs. At least Holtmann has used a rotation of 9-10 players. For a good finish to this season, the team can't afford any injuries. Question: If the Bucks can win the regular season title, should they play it safe in the Big Ten Tournament and use the time to prep for the NCAAs?
