1) Marvin Wilson: Rivals Number 1 player in the country. Big (6-4 320) fast DT. Seemingly wide open...
2) AJ Epenesa: 5 star DE (6-5 235). Lives in Illinois. Dad played for Iowa, I believe. He apparently is also interested in Oklahoma and Notre Dame. With the state of the Iowa program - Ferentz wont likely be around the next 6 years...(Maybe Stoops and Kelly won't either). I am surprsised we havent offered. Outside of Kaindoh and maybe Paschal we don't really have any strong DE candidates for 2017.
3) Devon Hunter: (6-2 210) high 4/ borderline 5 star safety from DC. Apparently close to an offer. He has 40 or 50 other offers and he has expressed very high interest in us. With no apparent really strong lean additional LB's in play for 2016 and no Hilliard's, Baker's or Conner's in the 2017 pipeline...I think one or two of these big safety's (out of Pryor, White, Okudah and Hunter) becomes a LB. Su'a Cravens style... (I just can't use the Lee comparison again.. It's gotten worse than Harvin..)
4) Shawn Robinson: 5 star Dual - Threat QB from Texas. Just committed to TCU. I think he looks perfect for our offense. (6-3 215). I think we need another QB in the 2015-2017 mix to compete with Burrow, Wallace and Clark. Love these 3, but if one gets hurt or 1 or 2 don't develop as we all hope, we could be light at QB...unnecessarily.
5) Tederrell Slaton (6-6 335) mammoth O-lineman from Gibsons school (Plantation). Guy is a 4/5 star. With offers from every other major program. And we only have one other OG offer out now. with Moretti and Myers in, I think he's a really great option if Willis or Wilson don't visit / commit.
6) Nate McBride: Number 10 rated player in the country. #1 ranked Rivals LB. Georgia kid (where we have so much traction now with Lecounte, Pryor and Sermon - and now Poole and maybe Gibbs). Why not get this kid an offer and get him in the mix too? Our other current LB offers appear to be long shots. Let's keep our Georgia momentum.
