Why does it feel like Ohio State is targeted moreso than any other program in the country? Does anyone believe there would be the same outrage by the media if the same situation happened at Alabama and Nick Saban or any other school in the south for that matter? Is it because Ohio State is the biggest football machine in college football? It seems to me these people could careless about Urban Meyer but they know that taking down Meyer would set Ohio State back big time. I would think the media would love for Ohio St to stay relevant just because of how much money they generate and the ratings they bring in but at the same time it seems as if they will pounce on anything that will take the program down. I think people would be baffled to know some of things that schools in the south get away with but there’s a vested interest not to bring them to light unless it’s blatantly obvious. It’s amazing how ESPN rushed to defend Saban after an anonymous coach called him a cheater and they don’t call him out for lying or being hostile to the media all the time. They acted like Urban commited a crime at B10 media days. Maybe I’m being conspiratorial or bias but it all just seems strange to me. I’d love to hear others thoughts. We are definitely the envy of college football.
