Then off to Jaxx Bar...Basement type place with 350 PedSU fans and us...Eight versus 350...Kid used the charm and everyone loved us...Lots of conversations about the two teams and multiple warnings to watch out for Tommie Stevens..
Saturday morning, went to GameDay with one of our crew for a half hour...Ran into, by chance VicDaddy and his lovely wife Angela...Had a yummy hazy IPA at Champs and laughed every time UFM's image was on Gameday...Lusty boos and catcalls...
Went by Ramada to see team get on the bus then headed to the Erector Set..Tailgated with friends of our friends and headed into Lions Den at 6:15..
Well, the place was as advertised...Concert level music and crazy audience participation...PA system prior to snap counts made it impossible to think straight..Ears still ringing..We sat 22 rows on 35 yard line behind Buckeye bench..When they had the ball, you could hear conversation across the field..Great atmosphere, the best in CFB that I have ever seen..
Down two scores, I sang Sweet Caroline and prayed to my friend Mike in heaven for a victory..Prayers answered..
All eight of us sang Carmen Ohio to a group of twenty Buckeyes a few rows below while the PedSU fans filed out in shock..
