There was 30 minutes of open practice today for the media after interviews, which amounted to like 15 or 20 minutes after stretching and shoot around haha.
In any event, just a few thoughts in the short viewing we had (Kevin will have some video later)...
* Like Keyshawn Woods' frame and stature. Saw him play at Wake on TV many times but bigger in person than I realized. Good fluid motion on his jumper.
* They were working on first shot offense in transition. The first line was Jackson, both Wessons, Potter and Luther Muhammad. Wouldn't call that the starting lineup in July, obviously but interesting.
* Potter looks to be running quicker. Looked smoothest of all the forwards and bigs on both shot and quickness inside. Ledee looks smooth though struggled a bit fininshing down low with his left hand.
* Joey Lane is probably the best pure shooter on the team. Not sure there will be minutes for him but he looks like he's worked on his game fwiw.
* My hunch from what little we heard from Holtmann in drills is they have aspirations of playing a little faster this year.
