OSU’s desire to satisfy the media will be what brings Meyer down. This investigation will continue to tarnish Urban’s legacy. Excerpt from 247 article:

Additional legal issues could be on the horizon for Ohio State coach Urban Meyer if proven he deleted text messages and wiped his phone earlier this month after learning of potential damaging reports related to Zach Smith's alleged domestic abuse, the Associated Press says.

In an AP story published Sunday, reporters Andrew Welsh-Huggins and Jim Vertuno spoke to several legal experts on the ramifications of deleted text messages prior to an investigation.
