When Urban was first hired, I remember him talking about hiring Mark and how important he was to his success. He talked about how important it was to have a recruiting guy in charge of recruiting who "loved that kinda stuff" I had never heard of MP until then because he was behind the scenes with Urban at Florida. It's pretty obvious Urban wasn't kidding about how important he's been as our recruiting is at a level that is unprecedented. I've been following the whole recruiting saga since the mid 80's and in the 90's it became almost a whole different animal in terms of storylines etc. OSU has never been like we are now within the kids and 5* star talent coming from border to border in the USA to Columbus,Ohio.
