I was invited to speak at a corporate event this past weekend, and during this 3 day event, I got to know the sound technicians pretty well. Great bunch of guys working for a company based in Michigan.
Once it became known I was a Buckeye,some good banter ensued but also some great Harbaugh stories. It seems they did sound/visual services for an event that John Harbaugh was speaking at, and he was, as they said, "Talking all sorts of S*@% about his brother."
He said that Jim is so messed up, that each summer the family has a huge get together and plays games with the kids. John said Harbaugh treats this game as the Superbowl he will never win. Every year he hurts an "8 year old kid" that has to go to the hospital.
John said that even his own family view Jim as 'special' and he wonders how long it will be before he 'snaps' publicly. Some of the stories I was told were off the record, and I will honor that, but WOW.
