The legal marijuana industry now employs over 240,000 full-time workers. That's almost a quarter million people employed by this regulated industry, and the numbers are up 13% from last year. From the report, "If cannabis industry jobs were tallied like other jobs, … legal cannabis would be acknowledged as the fastest growing industry in America.”
Legal marijuana is creating jobs, creating tax revenue, keeping money in local communities and out of the hands of organized crime. Yet, somehow the local anti-legalization zealots continue to fight against this.
Too bad none of them have the balls to engage on the topic or to defend their position.
