1. A win is a win. In this day and age of college football, it is survive and advance. If you win all of your games in the regular season/conference title game, you'll get into the big show.

2. I love keeping JT involved at the redzone QB. I know the QB situation would be a terrible mess from the moment Cardale announced he was essentially handing his winning lottery ticket back to the cashier at the gas station. I think the two have handled it well, but at that position, it is tough when you've been THE guy and are now just A guy. The QB runs add an element that is difficult to defend, and I think that when you have two good QBs you feel a little better calling them.

3. I think the most concerning thing about the defense's lackluster day was giving up 170 yards rushing to quarterback Perry Hills. His 75 yard run certainly raised some eyebrows. However, yielding only 133 yard passing helps make up for our run defense. I think the DL gets a nice shot in the arm this week versus Penn State, as their offensive line has done outstanding work as turnstiles this year.

4. Michigan will be by FAR our biggest test of the season. The kids I talk to on their team are gaining confidence. Jim Harbaugh is easily at top 5 coach in college football, but he will have his biggest test yet this week from the little brothers from East Lansing. Vegas did them no favorite by making them a 7 point favorite over the Spartans, who have owned them of late...

5. I'm excited for the game this week and I think the jerseys are a good feature for recruiting. I will also add that I think that the black helmet is stupid. Silver bullets for a reason. Don't mess with it.

6. It is the time of year where contenders start to roll. We have a very determined Urban Meyer, who knows that the grand feeling "repeat" is one of the few things missing from his very lofty coaching resume. He just has to stay the course. There is no monster waiting at the end of the tunnel, like the 2009 Alabama squad(Julio, Ingram, Richardson, etc.) turned out to be. Our monster will be waiting in Ann Arbor on November 28th. It is NEVER easy up there(look at the scored from the last 25 years up there), regardless of perceived talent discrepancy. Should be a fun stretch run...

Fire away with questions.
