When Jim Knowles was asked about being the head coach of the defense:
"It’s great. It’s what I do. I don’t think you can ask for a better situation. You are not walking into a program that’s struggled. You are walking into Ohio State: Rose Bowl winner, 12-2, national champion. So for me to be able to come in on a clean slate with ‘Hey, this is what I do with this defense that I’ve established,’ it’s great because the support and the sport is all there. Everything’s right there."
This is what I was talking about on the first episode of our podcast when I talk about a nonchalant confidence. This guy knows the situation he's walking into and knows the timetable that he has. But he also has the confidence that if he's done it before, he can do it again.
