Does anyone else believe that this insane proposal to plan for Spring Football is anything more than a shell game by university presidents, commissioners, and AD's?
"Oh look 'over here' at the fun we can have next Spring to cover their unwise cowardice by quitting the first week of August. THREE scrimmages - Akron, Kent, and Ball State. Justin Fields will surely stay for that lineup. Who cares about the NFL and millions when we players can frolic in the Spring in the Horseshoe? That lineup is worth a lifelong injury or two, right? Oh you say, the three teams will be Rutgers, Indiana, and TTUN minus their top 14 players? MUCH better! What a scam!
Leaders, REAL leaders, would be working another 6-8 weeks to try to make the Fall season happen?
