Is Curtis Samuel an H-Back or a WR? I think I heard that in fall camp he was working exclusively with Zach Smith's unit.
Are Ed Warriner and Tim Beck on the same page? It sure doesn't seem that way given that offensive line play, quarterback play, and offensive play-calling have been three of our four biggest inconsistencies so far this season. Also, we've committed most of our (frequent) penalties when we have the ball (IIRC).
We need more players in #zone 6 to make big catches, big plays. It cannot just be Mike Thomas. In our most crisply played game this season, we got big receiving plays from at least three different players.
Part of me thinks the offensive non-production/miscommunication could be a season long problem that will cost us a chance to make the playoffs and another part of me thinks that a lot of great teams have struggled mightily for a period of a season in particular phases and the other units have somehow been able to pick up the slack or even carry the team.
Ezekiel Elliott is still a tremendous running back despite our offensive performances the last two games.
I love this defense! Still I wonder if, towards the end of the season, Schutt will be the starting DT opposite Adolphus Washington.
