so why do the cable news networks pretend that it is? I just saw a report on MSNBC on the demographics in Nevada; they had the usual racial groups such as blacks, whites, and asians, but also had Latinos at 29%. You see this type of false equivalence a lot on CNN and MSNBC. Latino/Hispanic is not a race. There are a lot of white Latinos, and I doubt that all Latinos vote as a block, as in "the Latino vote".
